Uber共享變壓榨！IPO前夕司機串聯罷工
全球65個國家、擁有9100萬用戶群的Uber，穩坐網路叫車服務龍頭寶座，本周五即將在紐約證交所掛牌上市，但旗下最基層的司機們，卻選在公司要IPO的前一天(8日)上街，要Uber知道這份工作已經難以養家活口！司機們指控Uber為了募資，今年開始在各地進行費率重整，調高公司抽成比例，估算下來，司機得載客2500次，才只能賺100塊美金，約合台幣3千元，根本賺不到錢，甚至還負債累累！
Uber司機 ：「我們要什麼？正義！什麼時候？現在！」
全球網路叫車服務龍頭Ub熱銷產品特價產品er，最重要的賺錢資產──司機們，8號宣告罷工一天；不開車、要公司給個交代！
Uber司機 ：「去年我一周工作40小時賺的錢，現在我得工作70小時才賺得到。」
這場抗爭，由英美兩國司機大串聯，選在Uber周五IPO掛牌上市的前一天發出怒吼，擺明讓東家沒面子。司機們指控，Uber為了募資上市，今年在美國西岸實施費率重整，將基層司機的車資利潤，縮減25%以上；此外，全球各地也傳出調整抽成新令，讓司機收入大減，以美國來說，司機載客2500次，只能賺100美金，合台幣3千元，想賺一萬美金，得載客2萬次，讓他們成了共享經濟下的血汗勞工！
Uber司機 ：「我每天出門開車都膽戰心驚，怕有客人會打我，或是我這周付不起孩子的生活費，付不出房租，我對這相當不滿意。」
其實Uber的問題五花八門，各地的載客衝突，也是時有所聞，例如遇上酒醉乘客，或是情緒失控在車上咆嘯。
受害Uber司機 杜克斯 ：「乘客不是唯一將自己置於險境的...」
身為Uber的女性駕駛員，杜克斯再也不敢開車上路，因為她在載客途中，遭乘客性侵。

因此Uber司機也在罷工日提出要求，要公司加強用戶的背景調查，保障他們的工作安全。
搭車不再只能選擇車行的計程車，是Uber成立10年，所帶來共享經濟的革命新貌，估計Uber在美國市占率高達6成，生意版圖橫跨全球65個國家，在網約車市場快速成長趨勢下，預計2023年將達到1330億規模，但Uber的未來發展，卻是荊棘密布。
Uber廣告片段 ：「機會，到處都是！」
主打買車後，自用載客兩相宜，無須透過傳統的計程車車行，叫車服務透過App一指搞定，吸引全球9100萬龐大用戶群，Uber看似吸金王，2018年叫車訂單量直逼500億美金，扣掉成本和各項費用，公司營利只剩下113億，不到4分之一；不僅僅如此，Uber旗下的約僱司機，一天出車量約1400萬次，為了刺激司機載客意願，Uber砸大錢推出各種加成福利，這些費用再加總起來，讓公司去年營運虧損18億美金。有鑑於此，Uber今年起調整抽成模式，卻苦了基層司機；根據統計，有33%的Uber司機當初為了加入行列，買車負債，扣除生活費，平均一個月只多9塊美金收入，讓司機們大喊吃不消。
紐約計程車工會主席 德賽 ：「應該建立一套酬庸制度，讓駕駛固定拿到8成到8.5成的車資利潤，作為他們的勞力報酬。」
為了彌補虧損，Uber近年積極拓展事業版圖，推出UberEat美食外送，目前已佔公司營收比例的12%。
網路新聞記者 ：「服務擴及500大城市，Uber表示這是全球最大食物外送平台，這是在中國以外地區，根據訂單的統計結果。」
面對這次的一日罷工抗爭，Uber聲明強調，沒有司機就沒有今天的Uber，將持續改進司機們的工作條件，努力創造公司和司機都能賺錢的雙贏局面。
